Foster Greatness, a non-profit division of Doing Good Works, is dedicated to changing the lives of foster youth through courses, mentorship, and community engagement.
Their initial challenge was to convert a structured program in Google Docs into an interactive, scalable product. Through the integration of a community-based app called Circle, we successfully launched a virtual community and transitioned to offering courses via our own Foster Greatness App.
Managing the social platforms while creating our brand image and voice was a fun challenge to take on. We opted to use people first content, to build trust and credibility while using a informative - yet fun and inviting brand voice. Platforms managed included Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
We pivoted our content strategy to focus on our community and people in it. This meant bringing companies to share their product and valuable information on succeeding in life. We also choose to highlight young adults who are beating the odds for our stories to better relate to our community.
Although analytics are only a month of progress (and during the Holiday season) - careful content creation and focused audience targeting proved to be successful in boosting our impressions.
